Innr Smart Bulb Filament: a vintage but connected bulb
Unboxing
The packaging is red, the characteristic color of the brand's ZigBee products. Cardboard is thick and displays an illuminating photo of these vintage light bulbs Innr Smart Bulb Filament. On one side, we find the inherent characteristics of the product such as the intensity of the flux, the color rendering index (CRI), the Kelvin temperature, etc. On the other side, the main functions. The underside of the packaging indicates a energy class A +.
Let's take them out of their box. The two bulbs, type E27, are accompanied by a leaflet presenting the different models of the brand and a flyer mentioning the reset procedures (turn the bulb on / off 6 times). Finally, there is the declaration of conformity.
The Inrr bulb Smart Bulb filament is classic size, with its 12 cm high, but note that there is a so-called "globe" version (see the product) much larger at 15.5 cm high. Here only 4.6 cm correspond to the base and the body, a very small space for a connected bulb giving pride of place to the yellowed glass surface. Everything is in the same tone for a perfect harmony. End-to-end aesthetics for a featherweight of 44 grams, one of the lightest with the Meross MSL100 that we had to test. The type globe A60, for 6 cm in diameter, perfectly lets see the filaments which will diffuse a single warm white at 2200K. The body is branded with the Innr brand and the “vintage” model while at the back, the reference, the CE and ZigBee acronyms are affixed.
The globe, yellowed for the retro appearance, is made of glass and leaves our eyes with four orange LED filaments of the COG type, for Cheap on Glass, placed vertically and not in a spiral as on some models such as the Philips Hue White Filament Globe. We can't wait to see how this bulb will look.
The finishes are excellent, as is the quality of the materials used. No complaints. Their advertised lifespan is 15 hours, a little less than the average which is around 000 hours, but which still corresponds to more than a year and a half of continuous use. They are therefore durable bulbs.

This function is very practical, for example in a child's room where you can control the gradual extinction of the lights. The proposed timings: 15, 30, 45 or 60 min are perfect. This feature is very interesting and remains unique to Philips Hue, because unfortunately it is not available directly in the app. Alexa.
From the Philips Hue app it is also possible to assign them predetermined scenarios. When they are integrated in a room where there are already others, click on the number to make them appear. The vintage bulb is not modular if you try to change their position, they will inevitably return to the center of the disc representing the part.

If you had them integrated into a room and renamed them in the Philips Hue app, you would find them in the same room in the Google Home app with the new name as well.
Here is a render of vintage filament bulb lighting
The rendering is very impressive. The four filaments are perfectly visible. Note that the light is actually not as orange as the photos below suggest, which is not as strong, but that its warmth brings us back to memories that those under twenty should not know and is reminiscent of the incandescent lamps we once had. A leap into the past that will undoubtedly delight the most nostalgic.
The Innr bulb Smart Filament Bulb Vintage is a bulb worth showing off and not hidden behind a lampshade.
In use,
Bulb Innr Smart Vintage Bulb Filament is a bulb that deserves to be shown and not hidden behind a lampshade. It is nice and different from those we see everywhere with a milky globe. If only one type of warm white and therefore yellowish is offered, it is a faithful reflection of old lighting but with the significant advantage of LED bulbs consuming less energy. Its wide diffusion angle (320 °) allows the light to go far enough even if the flow of 350 lm is not powerful. As additional lighting cosi they will suffice. If the use remains classic without looking for a particular scenario, pairing to a Amazon Echo will fulfill the mission perfectly, no need to acquire a bridge.
In voice, the reaction times to the commands to turn on / off the sound significantly less with Alexa with Google Assistant which takes more than 4 seconds to react to our requests, against less than 2 seconds with Alexa.
