Although there is no longer a shortage of competitors in this very competitive market, the American sound specialist has just unveiled a new opus in its QuietComfort series of headphones. After the QC35 and QC35 II, here is the Bose QuietComfort 45. But what does this QC45 bring us?
Bose QuietComfort 45: discreet evolutions
Bose does not reinvent powder and sticks to its achievements with a model which, at first glance, does not bring big stylistic changes. It must be said that in this matter the Bose QC35 II had nothing to be ashamed of, comfort and ergonomics are already in place. Impossible for the American brand to ignore these and the Bose QuietComfort 45 Logically resumes soft pads with more flattering synthetic leather and now without any wrinkles.
Un glass fiber reinforced nylon makes the hoop more robust to protect it from drops and deformation, and new die-cast metal hinges promise even more strength and resistance. Great news!
On the sound side, Bose promises always excellent quality but does not always offer no support for lossless codecs, something that subscribers to high-resolution streaming services are sure to regret and which is quite surprising given their current boom.
The American instead relies on its already famous active noise reduction (ANC) that it guarantees us even more performance with a Quiet mode to completely isolate yourself and a new Aware mode allowing to stay in touch with its environment by filtering only certain noise.
Thanks to the addition of a fourth external microphone dedicated to voice, the Bose QC45 also promises us clearer telephone conversations optimized by a noise cancellation algorithm reducing interference to ensure you are perfectly heard, even in difficult conditions such as wind, etc.
Last but not least, QuietComfort 45 headphones gain in autonomy with up to 24 hours of listening time per charge cycle, enough to enjoy your music and silence, even during a long-haul flight. Charging takes place in 2 hours thanks to a connection USB-C which also allows to benefit from a 15 minute quick charge for 2h30 of additional listening. the micro-jack cable rest of the game and also saves energy by switching off Bluetooth ...
Un Bluetooth 5.1 which offers a powerful and constant connection within a radius of 9 meters and now allows to associate up to two devices at the same time, a simple button to easily switch from one to the other. Bose keeps the button for voice assistants but does not advertise it, so the mystery remains total on this subject.
